Proclamations may be issued for civic celebrations, non-profit organizations and significant events with importance to the citizens of the City of Wichita Falls. They may represent a day, a week, or a month.
All proclamation requests will be internally reviewed for current purpose, the significance of the event and accuracy. Therefore, it is necessary to submit a Proclamation Request Form. Requests must be received no later than three weeks prior to the day the proclamation is needed in order to allow time for review, subsequent creation and if requested, placed on the City Council Agenda.

The Mayor reserves the right to modify or deny any proclamation request.
Please fill out the Proclamation Request Form as completely as possible. When it is submitted it will automatically be sent to Pam Burch at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please understand that in the interest of time and conducting of City business, only four proclamations will be read during a City Council meeting. The proclamations will be placed on the agenda in the order that they are received.
