  1. "Divas Forever" - Artwork by The Divas

    The latest exhibit in the Galleria at the Forum features the artwork of Lawton, OK artists The Divas. The group comprised of students brought together by well-known Medicine Park, OK watercolorist Tom Biggs. Beginning with a painting class in 2014, the students became close-knit and Tome started calling them his "Divas". Since that beginning these artists have expanded their artistic learning, branching out from watercolor to other media across a range of subject matter.

  2. Citizen's Fire Academy

    September 10, 2019, 6:00 PM - October 22, 2019, 9:00 PM @ Public Safety Training Center and the WF Fire Drill Field.

    The WFFD is now taking applications for their Citizen's Fire Academy. This will be a 7-week academy meeting on Tuesday evenings from 6 pm - 9 pm. The dates of the academy are September 10th thru October 22nd with Graduation on Saturday, October 26th. This will be a hands-on and classroom firefighter experience. Participants will learn the entire history of the WFFD from its inception to the present time. Classes will be at the Public Safety Training Center and the WF Fire Drill Field. Dinner will be provided on the first meeting night and on Graduation. Snacks and water will be provided on the other nights.

  4. Kemp-Monroe Phase II Drainage Project Construction Area

    September 30, 2019, 8:00 AM - November 30, 2019, 10:00 PM @ Kemp Boulevard

    As part of the Kemp-Monroe Drainage Project Phase II, a new underground drainage system is being installed. This will require the contractor to divert traffic to one side of Kemp Blvd between Ave H and Ave J. One lane of traffic Northbound and one lane of traffic Southbound will be open through the construction area. The diversion of traffic on Kemp Blvd will begin Monday, September 30th and last for two months, weather permitting. Please drive slowly and use caution when traveling in this area.

    Available for all Residential customers who have been participating in the curbside organic reuse program for at least 45 days prior to the event. Bring a copy of your water bill to verify your eligibility. Don't forget your tarp to cover your load.

  6. Mad Hatter Tea at the Kell House!

    The Mad Hatter is hosting a Tea in the Kell House Gardens! Wear your wildest clothes and join in the fun of an interactive show and tea party as the ACTors Creating Together performs the Tea Party scene from the classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Geared toward children ages 4 to 11, the Mad Hatter Tea Party will be held in the beautiful Kell House Gardens. This program will be offered at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 5th. Parents are asked to attend with their children. The program is free for all, however, space is limited so please call ahead for reservations.
