  1. "Divas Forever" - Artwork by The Divas

    The latest exhibit in the Galleria at the Forum features the artwork of Lawton, OK artists The Divas. The group comprised of students brought together by well-known Medicine Park, OK watercolorist Tom Biggs. Beginning with a painting class in 2014, the students became close-knit and Tome started calling them his "Divas". Since that beginning these artists have expanded their artistic learning, branching out from watercolor to other media across a range of subject matter.

  2. Citizen's Fire Academy

    September 10, 2019, 6:00 PM - October 22, 2019, 9:00 PM @ Public Safety Training Center and the WF Fire Drill Field.

    The WFFD is now taking applications for their Citizen's Fire Academy. This will be a 7-week academy meeting on Tuesday evenings from 6 pm - 9 pm. The dates of the academy are September 10th thru October 22nd with Graduation on Saturday, October 26th. This will be a hands-on and classroom firefighter experience. Participants will learn the entire history of the WFFD from its inception to the present time. Classes will be at the Public Safety Training Center and the WF Fire Drill Field. Dinner will be provided on the first meeting night and on Graduation. Snacks and water will be provided on the other nights.

  3. March of Honor Walk Volunteers Needed

  4. Kemp-Monroe Phase II Drainage Project Construction Area

    September 30, 2019, 8:00 AM - November 30, 2019, 10:00 PM @ Kemp Boulevard

    As part of the Kemp-Monroe Drainage Project Phase II, a new underground drainage system is being installed. This will require the contractor to divert traffic to one side of Kemp Blvd between Ave H and Ave J. One lane of traffic Northbound and one lane of traffic Southbound will be open through the construction area. The diversion of traffic on Kemp Blvd will begin Monday, September 30th and last for two months, weather permitting. Please drive slowly and use caution when traveling in this area.

  5. MVPN Basic Training

    October 4, 2019, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Wichita Falls Travel Center Conference Room (Bus Station Downtown)

    This course offers a basic understanding of military culture, Veteran's issues, suicide awareness, and other important issues that affect our military and Veterans. This is a three-hour training course with the opportunity to take phase two of the program.

  6. Mystery Art Fest: First Taste Gallery Dinner

    A limited-seating event with a first look at all the Mystery Art for 2019. Experience an intimate evening of farm-fresh cuisine, moonshine tasting, and live music, all while enjoying an exclusive first look at the month-long Mystery Art Exhibit. Guests of this event will also serve as a unique judging panel, and have the honor of deciding who will receive the first ever First Taste Award.

    Do you love Downtown Abbey? Visit the Kell House Museum for an elegant dinner of royal proportions! Twelve lucky individuals will have the honor of joining everyone at the Kell House for a five-course dinner around the main dining table. The theme is Downtown Abbey! Guests are encouraged, but certainly not required, to dress in fashion common during the time period ranging from the 1910s to the roaring 1920s. Reservations are Required.
