  3. Oil Painting for Young Adults

    Here's a fun introduction to oil painting for the middle school and high school students. This class is built for the art student who hasn't had a chance to work with oil paint due to class length at their schools. The instructor has her Masters in Fine Arts, Painting, and has led a number of classes for younger artists so that they can try a new medium but still have guidance from an experienced instructor. All Supplies, including brushes, are provided! Registration is for a full month.

    Bring your young readers to the back of the youth department to read aloud to trained and certified therapy dogs. This is a one-on-one experience for the child and dog. Handlers will be present to supervise and provide guidance. To reduce stress & congestion, families should expect to wait outside of the designated area while the children read.
