  4. Battle Wichita Falls Regional Flag Football Tournament

    The Flag Football World Championship Tour presents the Battle Wichita Falls! Adult teams from all over the South will come out to Wichita Falls to compete across multiple 4v4, 5v5, and 8v8 formats with divisions for all ages and skill levels! This tournament is OPEN INVITE! Anyone can enter a team and you do not have to qualify for this event! All 4v4 and 5v5 divisions are 4 game guarantee. All 8v8 divisions are 3 game guarantee, with pool play + single elimination where everyone makes the playoff. All teams will use Sonic Flag-a-Tag flags for all divisions.

  5. Exhibit Opening: Dee Elliot "What's Up Downstairs"

    Mineral Wells Photographers Dee Elliot focuses her work on the things she's loved since childhood: ranching, horses, cattle, and the natural world. Her current exhibit in the What's Up Downstairs? Gallery at the Kemp brings to life her background in horse training while highlighting her joy in observing nature, particularly birds and plant life. With over 50 photographs on view, this exhibit is rich in imagery, detail and color.

  6. VITA Tax Training for Tax Year 2018

    VITA is the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program that has provided free tax preparation to over 3,500 people. If you would like to learn a new life skill, boost your resume, keep your mind sharp, and/or get all volunteer hours you need/want they will have 6 classes to choose from but you must attend ALL classes provided in that session. The first session is November 3rd, 10th & 17th these are all Saturday classes. Training will be held directly behind the Boys & Girls Club on Armory road.

If you want to learn a new life skill, boost your resume, keep your mind sharp, and/or get all volunteer hours you need/want they will have 6 sessions to choose from but you must attend ALL the classes provided in that session.     Join River Bend for their Winter Bird Eddspress program! Make a bird feeder, go bird watching on their nature trail, sculpt your own bird, and learn how nests are made!     Join the Kell House Museum as they investigate this 100+-year-old house, the home of Frank Kell, who along with his brother-in-law Joseph A. Kemp, was one of the two principal entrepreneurs in the early development of Wichita Falls, Texas. It has been rumored to be one of the most haunted places in all of Wichita Falls, with one legend that gets talked about more than any other, the stature of Flora Kemp ( the daughter of Joseph Kemp) at Riverside Cemetery.
