    Adopted Tax Rate 

    The City of Wichita Falls Adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for Maintenance and Operations than last year's tax rate.

    The tax rate will effectively be raised by 2.69% and will raise taxes for Maintenance and Operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $18.90.

    NOTE: This information references the difference between the No-New-Revenue rate for maintenance and operations and the adopted tax rate for maintenance and operations. The total tax rate for the 2020-21 tax year is .763323 per $100 of assessed value, which is the same rate as the prior year. 

    This statement is presented as required by Texas Tax Code 26.05 (b) (2) (A) and (B), and applies only to the M&O Portion of the rate.
