Dangerous Animal

A dangerous animal is defined as any animal that is not provoked into defending itself or attacking any other animal or human. An animal is determined to be a danger to human life, health, or safety. Dogs barking from within the safe confines of a fenced yard are not considered aggressive or dangerous.

All animal bites, scratches, or attacks that cause a skin break shall be reported to Animal Control.

We have a Dangerous Ordinance that defines and sets restrictions for dogs that may attack humans or other domestic animals.
