WICHITA FALLS RAILROAD MUSEUM
Open: Sat 11-3
Railroad buffs from across the country and around the world place the Wichita Falls Railroad Museum at the top of their list when wanting to be surrounded by everything railroad. Climb aboard actual train cars and Steam Locomotives including Commuter Cars, Pullman Troop Sleepers, Dining Cars, Post Office and Baggage Cars, Cabooses and so much more.

This exhibit honors the brave men who trained in Wichita Falls at the World War I Army Air Corp base known as Call Field from 1917-1918. Hundreds of pilots learned to fly using the Curtiss JN4-D "Jenny." The museum has one of only five Curtiss Jenny's left that can take to the sky as well as a completely restored T-38 Jet Trainer, currently one of two aircraft used for training at Sheppard Air Force Base.

WICHITA FALLS FIRE AND POLICE MUSEUM
Open: The first Saturday of every month, 10am-2pm or anytime by appointment.
The Fire and Police Museum presents the important and honored history of the men and women of the Wichita Falls Fire and Police Departments through wonderful displays, historic photographs, equipment and wonderful fire engines such as a 1916 American LaFrance engine and many other fire trucks sure to thrill people of all ages. Rides are available on special occasions.

Tour books offer significant insite into the lives, tales and works of the people who lived in and formed the city of Wichita Falls.

SHEPPARD HERITAGE CENTERLocation: Sheppard Air Force Base
Over 30 displays covering the rich, proud history of Sheppard Air Force base and many aspect of aviation history. The museum features a theater, POW Memorial, uniforms, equipment, scenes depicting base personnel and the roles they performed throughout the years, artwork, historic photos, a T-38 trainer, archives and much more.
